Top 5 Sports Apps Performance in the Netherlands: Q3 2025

The third quarter of 2025 saw varied performance among the top sports apps in the Netherlands, according to Sensor Tower data.

The 4Daagse app experienced a dramatic spike in downloads, peaking at 64.5K in mid-July before tapering off significantly to just a few downloads by September. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, with numbers soaring to over 203K in mid-July before gradually declining to approximately 33.4K by the end of the quarter.

ESPN GOAL! started with 20.1K downloads at the beginning of the quarter but saw a steady decrease, ending with just 431 downloads in late September. Active users showed a more stable trend, peaking at 85K in early August and maintaining around 50K towards the quarter's end.

The Voetbal.nl - De officiële app showed a significant increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads rose from under 1K in June to 19.3K by late August. Active users also increased dramatically, reaching over 933K by mid-September. Revenue peaked at $16.7K in mid-August, before a gradual decline.

DAZN: Stream Live Sports had a steady weekly revenue, peaking at $17.1K in early September. Downloads started strong at 26.4K in early July but fell to under 800 by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at over 71K in early July and decreasing to around 24.6K by late September.

The Feyenoord App saw a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at over 13K in early August. Active users also increased steadily, reaching over 47K in early August before slightly fluctuating throughout the quarter.
